As an active Chamber for Business, the Georgina Chamber of Commerce is here to help small independent business owners grow their business. Competition for the consumer dollar is becoming more difficult for the smaller businesses and there is a greater need for innovative and creative ways to retain customers.
In the Town of Georgina, the Georgina Chamber of Commerce actively works to help member businesses in the area to grow their business through a variety of networking and educational forums. In addition, the chamber offers its members high-value, low-cost advertising opportunities to help spread the word about their products and services.
There are many networking opportunities offered through the chamber. Every month the chamber holds a breakfast networking meeting, or Breaknet, which runs from about 7:15 to 8:30 in the morning. Business After 5 casual network gatherings; educational workshops and seminars with local and national speakers; provide business owners with an opportunity to network with other business owners and to make new contacts. The Georgina Chamber is also involved in a Colossal Chamber Event that involves ten other Chambers of Commerce, and offers opportunities for members to network with over 600 members of chambers from other regions.

The Georgina Chamber of Commerce produces a Business Directory of all member businesses which is distributed to residents of Georgina as well as a listing of members in the Georgina Visitor Guide.
