Connors Music is proud to serve as a gateway to the wonderful world of music. Young or old, beginner or virtuoso, the Connors family and fellow staff members have the expertise to help you reach your goals.
The store’s owners, Paul and Thea Connors, are excited to offer the community lessons, gear to rent or buy, repair service, recording space and equipment, helpful advice, and a friendly atmosphere. After over 30 years they remain passionate musicians and pillars of the community, and are happy to work alongside their family and friends.
Music is unique in its universal appeal—you’d be hard pressed to find someone who couldn’t name a favourite artist or style. But given the endless avenues of experimentation to journey down, it can help to have a reliable, knowledgeable guide when you decide to make music of your own, whether you’re recreating an old favourite or composing your own opus.
The notoriously wide range of prices and quality in musical instruments can be daunting to any musician, but it doesn’t have to be. Connors Music’s huge staff and equally impressive selection of equipment will help you decide what’s right for you; in an increasingly Internet-reliant era, there’s no substitute for seeing an instrument up close and getting a chance to compare weight, comfort, aesthetic, and of course, sound.
If you’re the indecisive type, you can take advantage of Connors Music’s rental program. A cheap monthly-rate system takes the anxiety out of a purchase. And if you’re smitten, there’s always the option to give your instrument a home forever.
Summer camps are a great way to get kids into music and keep them busy during the long days off from school. Not only can music become a lifelong pursuit for your child, but the camps also offer a chance to meet likeminded students and learn from professionals in a fun, low-pressure environment.
