The Georgina Chamber of Commerce is headquartered in Keswick and supports businesses in the Town of Georgina. There are more than 320 businesses in Georgina that are members of the Chamber of Commerce.
A non-profit, member-driven organization, the objective of the Chamber is to promote, develop and foster the well-being and interests of the business community. In doing this, the chamber aims to enhance the quality of life for all of the citizens of Georgina.
Chamber members can take advantage of a medical and dental plan through the national Chambers of Commerce Group Insurance Plan that includes prescription drugs, dental, optical and life insurance packages. This plan offers members access to coverage they might not otherwise be able to afford.
As a chamber member you can also take advantage of discounted rates on cell phone plans from Bell Mobility, special rates for TD Merchant Services and discount cards for Esso gas as well as discounts on home and car insurance through Group Dynamix and member to member discounts.
One of our biggest benefits of being a member of the Chamber of Commerce is Networking. The monthly Breaknet meeting, which is a breakfast networking event, is usually attended by 55 to 65 business owners who attend these meetings to network with other business owners. Each one who attends has the opportunity to give a brief description of their business.
The chamber office, located at 430 The Queensway S. in Keswick, is a resource centre for businesses large and small. The focus of the Chamber of Commerce is to work with businesses in the area, helping them to grow and to make the connections they need to succeed.
